Background

Tim Taylor is Director of Asset Management Consulting with ABB Inc.’s Electric Systems Consulting group. He has been with ABB since 1995, in a number of roles involving asset management, power system planning, and economic analysis. He provides distribution planning, engineering, and asset management consulting to US and international power companies. Prior to joining ABB, Tim worked for GE for 7 years as an electric utility systems engineer in Schenectady, NY and Philadelphia, PA. He is a senior member of IEEE. Tim received his bachelor’s and his master’s in electrical engineering from North Carolina State University and his MBA from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.
