Dennis Moran has over 30 years of diverse experience in the energy business. The main focuses of his career have been developing and commercializing advanced energy conversion technologies, energy efficiency, and utility industry restructuring. His efforts have included forming a consulting firm to provide energy management and marketing support; developing natural gas and electricity procurement programs and energy management programs for Marriott; directing the American Gas Association's power generation, cogeneration and gas cooling programs; managing the Mid-Atlantic CHP Application Center at the University of Maryland; developing energy savings performance contracts; and consulting on technology development and marketing issues for numerous government, utility, and industrial clients. He currently is serving as director of energy for Marriott International's eastern region. Mr. Moran has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Notre Dame and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. In addition, he is a registered professional engineer.
