Background


Michael R. Borovik is special counsel in the Chicago office of Kelley Drye & Warren LLP. He focuses primarily on representing companies, government agencies and municipalities in the natural gas and electric industry on issues that include regulated and unregulated matters, retail markets, power procurement, energy efficiency, smart grid, and distributed generation before regulatory agencies and state courts. Mr. Borovik previously served as Assistant Attorney General and prior to that served as Staff Attorney in the Office of General Counsel at the Illinois Commerce Commission, where he represented Commission Staff on a variety of natural gas, electric, telecommunication, and water matters.
