Background

Monica Frogheri, graduated in 1994 in Nuclear Engineering at Pisa University, Ph.D. in 1998 in Energetic at Genoa University. She joined Ansaldo Nucleare in 2000. Her activities cover both the thermal hydraulic and safety analyses of LWR and CANDU reactors. She has been involved in the Licensing Safety Analyses for the AP1000 plant Design Control Document. In the last years, she was in charge of the Technical coordination of the AP1000 Thermal hydraulic and Radiation activities. Moreover, she collaborated to ADS and GEN IV projects, in particular for what concerns safety approach and analyses. She is member of the Foratom New Build Task Force. Presently she has been assigned to the role of Ansaldo Nucleare Safety Advisor.
