Background
Tom Fehring is the chief operating officer of NorCENergy Consultants, LLC, which provides consulting services to the energy industry, with a principal focus on electric generation and renewable energy. Tom formerly was vice president and general manager of We Power LLC, a subsidiary of Wisconsin Energy Corporation which designs, builds and owns new power generating facilities - including a 1,100 megawatt combined-cycle power facility in the City of Port Washington, and a 1,230 megawatt coal-fueled generating facility adjacent to the Oak Creek Power Plant.
Tom worked for Wisconsin Energy and its subsidiary companies for most of his career, over which he held numerous positions-he was project manager for the engineering and construction of the Germantown Power Plant, manager of the Pleasant Prairie Power Plant, director of financial management, manager of system engineering, corporate secretary, and vice president and general manager of W.E. Power.
Fehring is a professional engineer, registered in Wisconsin and Michigan. He graduated from Marquette University with bachelors and masters degrees in mechanical engineering and is a recipient of Marquette's Engineering Alumni Service Award as well as the Marquette Engineering Professional Achievement Award.
He is also a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, in which he served as chairman of its local and regional history and heritage committees. He is a recipient of the society's Centennial Medallion.
Additionally, Tom is Trustee of the Village of Whitefish Bay (Wisconsin) and a member of its Historic Preservation Commission, member of the Marquette University College of National Engineering Advisory Council, a member of the Society for Industrial Archeology and former president, director and vice chairman of Whitefish Bay Dominican High School.

39 comments I think the scientific proof is overwhelming that the atmosphere is gradually warming. Perhaps there is some question regarding how much can be attributed to man-made factors (anthropogenic) and how much might be naturally occurring, but whatever the cause, it's time to move beyond this debate.
